The History of North Cyprus
According to the various informations of the ancient times, the man settled to the region by migrating from Europe and Asia. There was lots of landowner at the Northern Cyprus as Egyptians , Archaic Greeks , Hittites , Byzantine , Ottoman , esc . By the Roman Empire the Cyprus was covered and had been invaded in 58 B.C. And after soon for 350 years the Cyprus was under the rule of the Roman Empire . But too many years later the Cyprus had been taken by the Byzantine Empire whose religion changed to the Christianity from the others in 395 B.C. after that even .

But because of some kind of disagreement among two dominance had to separate the North Cyprus as North Cyprus Turks and the North Cyprus Republic .
Nearly 103 North Cyprus villages were left and North Cyprus Turks were compelled to live in the 3% of North Cyprus. Both the reason of the island?s conjoining to Greek in 1974 and the pulse with the support of the Greek, Turkey stepped in the island.
So on Cyprus had been separated to two parts by the name of Northern Cyprus Turks by taking the name to be the part of North of island and the other part South that the Greeks` area . In 1975 by the name of Turkish Federate State , Turks established their Federate State in Northern Cyprus . And than in Northern Cyprus , in 1983 , Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic was established .
30 years later , Annan planed to open the boundary gates and so Northern Cyprus Turks accepted that Northern Cyprus plan but the other Northern Cyprus side owners , the name is Sourthern Greeks , because of some reasons rejected that Northern Cyprus plan in 24.04.2004 . So now , eventhough Northern Cyprus Turks opened the boundary gates , they didn`t . Greek side of the Northern Cyprus , has been accepted as member of the Europe Union because of to be the symbol the all Cyprus with the name of Northern Cyprus Republic in May 1, 2004.
