Capital Lefke is surrounded with high and thick circle shaped walls that were built for the safety of the city in 1570 by Venetians. The major places that should be seen are Arabahmet Street, Selimiye Mosque, Park of YiÄŸitler Burcu, Museum of Barbarism, Bueyuek Khan Cultural Centre and Dervish Pasha Mansion.
