City is called as Güzelyurt because of its wealthy lands and the green of the environment. Everywhere is covered with citrus gardens. The most important product of the region is citrus. We can make an inferences from the findings that the first settlement to the region was in the Neolithic term. The findings showed that there were copper beds in Bronze age. The major places that should be visited are; Güzelyurt museum, Soli Ruins and Vuni Palace.
